The COVID variant is dealing a blow to the optimistic hopes of the global economy in 2022 although its effects can be seen not too big. However, its effects potentially undermine plans by policymakers with different scenarios for forecasting the impact of the COVID-19 variants.
Meanwhile, the Vietnam economy is still following impressively achieved results of 2021 when the Government issued timely decisions to prevent the spread of the pandemic and to develop the economy to ensure social security.
The motivation has gradually
“untied” the economy with normalized production and business activities, openly
trade between provinces and cities which lead to the gradual recovery of the
economy and its growth in the last months of the year. However, in 2022, the
new wave of the COVID-19 epidemic still complicated developments and has posed
many challenges in management and administration to develop the economy and
ensure social security.
