Attending the meeting, from University of Rennes 1, there were Prof. Éric Avenel - Head of Faculty of Economics, Prof. Jean Jacques Durand - Center for Economic Research and Management. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai - Deputy Head of Office for Research and Partnership Development and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking.

At the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu emphasized the results of collaborative relationships between the two universities since December 2015. In this academic year (2016-2017), the UEB received three Rennes’s students for one semester exchange study semester and expected to send one student to study in Rennes in the second semester.

During this working visit, representatives of University of Rennes and the UEB continues to discuss opportunities for cooperation in training programs. On behalf of the UEB, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu introduced the Executive Master in Management of Financial Institutions starting enrollment in 2016. Representatives of University of Rennes 1 opened the possibility of cooperation between the two sides in this program. Accordingly, University of Rennes 1 can recognize some of the courses in the program, opening up opportunities for the student's transition program at the University of Rennes and received degree granted by Rennes.

Ending the meeting, representatives of both universities committed to further exchange of detailed content and prepare for the deployment of follow-up activities.
