Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Doan Duc Minh - Deputy General Director of PVcombank, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB, heads of the Office of Research and Partnership Development, Faculty of Finance and Banking together with lecturers and students of the faculty.

After the first part of information exchange, Mr. Doan Duc Minh and Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu signed the memorandum of understanding. This opened up cooperation opportunities in training activities (particularly in the High Quality Bachelor Program in Finance and Banking and Master in management of financial institutions); implementing projects/research; organizing conferences/seminars.

Delivering speech at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu stressed that: The MOU will lay the basis for comprehensive cooperation between the UEB and PVcombank. Over the time, PVcombank has cooperated with the Faculty of Finance and Banking in various activities. Notably, the two parties have jointly organized conferences, symposiums and career orientation for students. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu highly appreciated the cooperation between the two parties in supporting UEB’s students in job orientation, internship/field trip program.

At the ceremony, Mr. Doan Duc Minh affirmed that VNU University of Economics and Business will be important partner of PVcombank. He also said that the bank will support the UEB in training activities and accompany with finance and banking students. Each year, PVcombank will receive at least 5 students of the Faculty for internship. The students will be trained and guided by experienced experts. The interns will receive salary and bonus as negotiated and if they meet the job requirement, the students will be admitted to work right after graduation. Especially, the winning team at the competition Finance Students 2017 will be selected to work at PVcombank after graduation.

After signing the memorandum, PVcombank and the UEB will quickly implement the collaborative contents.
