Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu highly appreciated the cooperation relationship with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK. The cooperation between the two sides, starting in 2010, has had some success. She hopes that the formalization of cooperation activities by signing a memorandum of understanding between the two sides will bring the relationship between UEB and ACCA to a new level.

 

 

Based on the needs and aspirations of both sides, from 2010 to present, UEB and ACCA have cooperated in training, research and career consulting in the field: finance, accounting and auditing. The cooperation between the two sides has been recognized with many successes, such as the successful organization of state-level conferences, shared speakers in international conferences, "Train the Trainers" trainers program, Experience sharing from lecturers / international experts for lecturers / students, professional orientation programs for students: "Successfully recruiting successful recruiters in the field of accounting - auditing finance"; jointly organized contests / scholarships for accounting students - auditing: "Me of tomorrow" contest "AIS" "Conquering the peak Accounting - Auditing".

After the information exchange, the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation. Accordingly, UEB will develop and implement undergraduate and graduate programs in Finance - Banking and Accounting - Auditing, which integrate academic and professional knowledge, including using programs of ACCA as well as available sources of ACCA; At the same time, UEB will also introduce the first 9 ACCA subjects taught in the Master and Dr programs; Using ACCA curriculum as a source of instructional materials.

 

In addition, UEB will recognize the results of 9 ACCA examinations in the university's master programs, based on compliance with the regulations of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
