Attending the meeting, from OTH, there were Prof. Markus Westner - Dean of Computer Science; Prof. Georgios Raptis - Lecturer; Prof. Michael Bulenda - lecturer. From UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; MA. Nguyen Duc Lam - Deputy Head of Research and Partnership Development.

At the meeting, representatives of the two sides discussed opportunities for student and lecturer exchange, which can create best condition for the students to learn abroad.

Specifically, the two universities discussed signing a cooperation agreement in exchange students. Every year, 4 students will be chosen to study in a semester at partner universities and will receive tuition exemption. In addition, UEB’s senior students will have the opportunity to participate in paid internship programs offered by OTH.

 

Considering exchange of lecturers, OTH will invite UEB’s lecturers to teach one module in 2-3 weeks in Germany. Leading experts of OTH will also be invited to teach in UEB in equivalent courses.

In addition, the two sides agreed to collaborate in developing training programs and short-term courses. Based on the agreement reached at the meeting, the two sides will soon finalize the terms to sign the MOU in the near future.
