VNU-UEB Vice Rector - Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Anh Tai attended to the ceremony, associated by Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Director of Research and Partnership Development Office, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Van Hai - Dean of Faculty of Business Administration.
On the side of Hapro, there were Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang - CEO and representatives of its components.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thang said many businesses lacked high-qualified human resources to take important positions despite the increasing number of advanced training programs at universities; this was due to the remarkable gap between theory and practice. He expected that the training course would help link the theoretical knowledge with practice to equip staff of the Hapro with problem solving skills in leadership and management.

At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Anh Tai shared that the VNU-UEB had been successful in implementing many short-term training courses such as training human resources for Northern area, short-term courses for high-qualified staff for enterprises, especially a training course for CEO in Hanoi.
The CEO training course is implemented based on the form of combining theory of modern management skills with the market practice, which is handled by VNU-UEB lecturers and managers of the Hapro. Through the training program, participants will be equipped with the basic knowledge and improve management, application and implementation of the new governance model, modern, thinking skills, creative problem solving, flexible, innovative, effective business operating practices.
Through the training course, the learners are provided with knowledge of management, the application and practicing of new management models, creative problem solving skills and other flexible, effective skills in their own managing conditions.
The training course is expected to take part from 18 March to 8 June 2013.

The Hanoi Trade Corporation has been one of important partners of the VNU University of Economics and Business, having implemented many cooperation activities. However, this was the first collaboration in training human resources, opening opportunities for comprehensive cooperation between the two sides.
