Economic and trade forums between Vietnam and other countries and regions are annually held by VNU-UEB. Following the success of the "Vietnam - Germany Economic and Trade Forum 2020" and "Vietnam - UK Economic and Trade Forum 2021", VNU-UEB continues to organize the "Vietnam - Korea Economic and Trade Forum 2022" (in Vietnam) and "Vietnam – Europe Economic and Trade Forum 2023" (expected in Turkey).
On the morning of
August 2, 2022, the representatives of the VNU-UEB worked with Vietnam - Korea
Friendship Association delegations led by Mr. Vu Tien Loc and Prof. Lee Keunjae, Dean of the Faculty of
Economics, Pusan National University, Korea. On the side of the VNU-UEB, there
was the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr.
Nguyen An Thinh - Dean of Faculty of Development Economics, Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam
- Head of Scientific Research and Development Cooperation, and other members of
the Organizing Committee.
Vietnam - Korea
Economic and Trade Forum themed as "Vietnam - Korea Economy 2022: The
transformation of economic development model towards a green and creative
economy" is a national-scale economic forum organized to celebrate the
30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, upgrading the
two countries relations to a "comprehensive strategic partnership"
and 77 years of Korea's National Day (August 15, 1945 - August 15, 2022).
The forum program is
expected to include the following topics:
• Opening ceremony
and speeches by delegates of the co-organizer.
• Introducing and
launching the book "The transformation of economic development models of
Vietnam and Korea in the 21st century towards a green and creative
economy".
• Awarding medals to
typical enterprises/organizations in developing economic relations between
Vietnam and Korea over the past 30 years.
• Scientific report
and discussion at the plenary session: "Vietnam - Korea economy, trade and
investment".
• Scientific report
and discussion of sub-committees: "Digital transformation,
entrepreneurship and innovation in Vietnam and Korea" (Section 1);
"Developing a green economy in Vietnam and Korea" (Section 2);
"Vietnam - Korea economic, cultural, educational and sports
cooperation" (Section 3).
