On June 27th, the ceremony of admitting 209 new ACCA members was held at Melia Hotel. One lecturer of VNU University of Economics and Business was honored to be admitted - Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien from Faculty of Accounting and Auditing.
Attending the ceremony, there were State Auditor General Ho Duc Phuc, Mr. Leo Lee - Chairman of ACCA, representatives of central authorities, leaders of universities. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the UEB also presented at the ceremony.
The Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) is an accounting certificate issued by the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA). This is a professional certificate for people pursuing accounting career, which affirmed professionalism and experiences of its holders.
Mr. Leo Lee, President of ACCA, congratulates the new members Currently, ACCA has nearly 500,000 students, nearly 200,000 members with about 100 representative offices around the world. This is the largest and most prestigious accounting profession in the world. It has participated in many international economic events and contributed significantly to the education and training sector of accounting and auditing.
