The VNU University of Economics and Business affiliated with The University of St. Francis, USA (USF) to open the Joint Master of Business Administration. The program will realize the dream of studying in the US for Vietnamese students.

1. Main features and outstanding value of the Program:

• Being the MBA program, US with the top training quality in Vietnam; is officially licensed by VNU for training and accredited by the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.
• There are three majors for students to choose from:
• Management;
• Supply Chain Management;
• Health Administration.
• Lecturers are world-class experts. 50% of the coursework in the program (18/36 credits) delivered by USF.
• Guest Speakers are top experts, influential leaders in International Business, Supply Chain Management and Health Service Management.
• The preferential tuition rate, only about 40% as compared to the training fee in the United States.
• Graduates are invited to come to the US to receive a degree if they wish.

Business training programs of USF is accredited and certified by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for the training quality.
• The School of Health Administration (The School of Health Administration) of the School is a member of The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), a global network of colleges, universities, faculties, individuals and organizations that specialize in health care delivery activities through the training of excellent people in healthcare service management and education, policy education in health.

• Training time: from 18 to 24 months.
• Training venue: Building E4, University of Economics - VNU, 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi.
• Training program: 36 credits (36 semester credits).
• Language of instruction: English.
• Degree: Graduates will be granted Master of Business Administration (Master of Business Administration) by USF with transcripts clearly stating the majors that students study.

3. Admissions subjects and recruitment conditions:

Enrollment subjects are Vietnamese citizens and foreigners (enrollments in accordance with VNU's current regulations) who satisfy the following conditions:

3.1. Diploma:

• Graduated from Vietnamese or foreign universities majoring in Business Administration and other disciplines (graduates of other majors must learn additional knowledge as required if the university transcript does not have a course with the number of credits List of supplementary knowledge modules and subjects (see Appendix 1: Training Program Framework and attached conditional modules)
• The GPA of the college transcript reached 2.75 / 4.0. Candidates with a GPA lower than 2.75 but not less than 2.0 / 4.0 may be accepted conditionally. Conditionally students must study and get at least ‘B’ for the first 9 credits (3 modules) in the program. If the student does not score at least ‘B’ for the first 3 courses, the student will not be recognized for official admission.
• The university diploma issued by a foreign educational institution must carry out the diploma recognition procedures according to current regulations.

3.2. Foreign language:

• Have a valid foreign language certificate in English and reach the level 4 according to the 6-level foreign language capacity which is issued by training institutions approved by the Ministry of Education and Training. and Vietnam National University (see Appendix 3) grade or equivalent (B2 / CEFR; IELTS 5.5; TOEFL 61….); or:
• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in English / English teaching; or:
• Have a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from a foreign university whose language of training is English. These diplomas must carry out the diploma recognition procedures according to the current regulations.

Candidates who have not met the entry language proficiency requirements but have good university results may be accepted into the MBA-USF Program and must take an English course until their English proficiency meet the required level. Not more than 1 year from the date of the announcement of conditional admission.

After graduation, if there is a need to recognize the diploma, the student should submit the application according to the provisions of the Quality Management Department, the Ministry of Education and Training.

 

3.3. Work experience:

• Graduates of Business Administration can take the exam right after graduation;
• Graduates from universities of other disciplines must have at least 02 years of experience in the relevant field.

3.4. Other requirements:

• Clear Curriculum Vitae is recognized by the agency where the workplace is working or the local government of residence, not during disciplinary action (from a warning level or higher and / or not during civil judgment)
• Be healthy enough to study.
• Submit the application fully and on time according to the school's regulations.

4. Scholarship opportunities

In 2021, the USF-MBA program offers a diverse scholarship, value up to VND 300 million.

Entrance Scholarships

• Seven entrance scholarship, each worth one Macbook valued VND 25 million (cash can be received) for the top five valedictorian of the six disciplines.
• Four scholarships, each worth VND 12.5 million for non-UEB students, enrolled before October 15, 2021 (complete the admission procedures as specified).

Scholarship for graduates

• Top three graduates of the programs with GPA of 3.6/4.0 or higher will receive a scholarship of VND 25 million, equivalent to 01 round-trip air ticket from Hanoi – Chicago, enable students to come to St. Francis University to receive a diploma in the US.
