On November 29, 2022, the University of Economics and Business - VNU held a Conference on Academic Counseling for the first semester of the academic year 2022 - 2023 in order to improve the operational efficiency and the role of the learner consultant to improve the rate of graduation on time.
The conference was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Rector; MSc Ngo Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Head of Training Department; leaders from faculties and institutes; team of Learner Consultant, lecturers of University of Economics and Business - VNU. The conference aimed at solutions to achieve the goal of graduating on time for students, handling arising problems such as regulations, tuition fees, insurance, student loan funds, etc. ensure the best interests for learners. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the learner consultant to learn and update the latest information in the training process and regulations, student management, and make suggestions to overcome the current limitations, in order to build and improve the best educational environment.

Also at the Conference, leaders of functional departments such as the Training Department, the Financial Planning Department, the Political & Student Affairs Department updated new regulations related to the student support process to the learner consultant and lecturers.
In addition, the learner consultant directly exchanged and shared the advantages and disadvantages of supporting students, thereby proposing timely and effective solutions. They are representatives of the units who answered and responded to questions related to academic counseling in the context of university autonomy.
At the end of the Conference, the Organizing Committee has recorded all the comments and exchanges of the participants, from which there will be appropriate adjustments to the student support system. With the goal of bringing the best values to learners, the Conference has promoted encouragement, timely support from learner consultant as well as motivation and suitable career development direction for each student.
