Attending to the working session were Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Tuyen, Vice Director of Vietnam Petrolium Institute, M.A. Hoang Thi Phuong, Vice Director of Research Center of Petroleum Economics and Management, directly under the Institude. Working with the delegation were Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Hong Son - Vice Rector and representatives of Heads of Scientific Research & Cooperation Development Department as well as Faculties of the UEB - VNU, Hanoi.
At the meeting, both sides agreed to cooperate on implementing major research subjects of PetroVietnam (PVN) in order to develop and serve “Accelarative development strategy of PetroVietnam up to 2015, orientate to 2025”. In particular, the UEB will support PVN in surveying and predicting economic situation for cooperation's business development strategy. This cooperative program will partly affirm the position of the UEB - VNU, Hanoi in terms of scientific research, meeting the practical needs of enterprises.
To implement the cooperative program, research teams of both sides will directly discuss and determine the tasks content as well as the coordinative methods.
