University of Economics and Business which is a new university has been upgraded from Faculty of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi March 2007. All academic and research activities of the university have promptly set in order. The UEB is known as a dynamic and creative university, which is directed to pursue the international quality and standard. The academic activities of the university, especially training and scientific research, have achieved some initial success, forming a base for the next breakthrough towards true quality and efficiency. In April 2010, UEB was certified the quality management system ISO 9001:2008. The facilities of the university is gradually upgraded to create more favorable conditions for its teaching, research and learning; UEB staffs’ qualifications and professional skills are increasingly improved; corporation culture within the whole university are gradually being established, building a friendly working environment, which is one of important conditions to ensure sustainable development for the next period.
