The UEB students’ research attains third prize at VNU and VNUH level

The two students Tran Quang Thang and Dang Thi Lien and their lecturers at the conference
September 23rd 2014, the awarding ceremony of students’ research of two national universities, which are in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, has been held at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City. At the ceremony, students of University of Economics and Business were awarded the third price for their project.

It is an annual conference, held respectively between Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNUH) to find and award outstanding research projects of students.
There were 31 projects selected to the final round were devided into four areas including basic theoretical research on natural sciences, information technology, computer science; research on technology, medicine and natural science; research on economics, law, education management; and research on social sciences - humanities and foreign languages.
In the field of economic research, the project “Evaluation of brand extension under the perspective of Vietnamese consumers, the case study of Vinamilk brand” by the UEB students have reached third prize. The project specialized in Business Administration, which was carried out by Tran Quang Thang (QH-2012-E Finance Banking) and Dang Thi Lien (QH-2011-E Business Administration).
