On 4th January 2018, VNU University of Economics and Business held the ceremony to award authors of ISI/Scopus international articles in 2017.
Attending the ceremony, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB along with lecturers as authors of international articles.
In 2017, UEB’s lecturers have 11 articles published in international journals of ISI and Scopus. Especially, Dr. Tran Quang Tuyen had 3 articles posted in ISI journal with the contribution rate of all three articles is 60%. The three articles are:
- Does economic inequality affect quality of life in older people in rural Vietnam
- A microcconometric analysis of housing and life satisfaction among the Vietnamese elderly
- Lost in Transition Declining Returns to Education in Vietnam
Dr. Tran Quang Tuyen is also the co-author of another article on Scopus. The other authors are Dr. Luu Quoc Dat, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, Dr. Do Anh Duc, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung, Assoc.Prof.Nguyen Viet Khoi, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nham Phong Tuan, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Dr. Tran Thi Van Anh.
The ceremony is a chance for leaders of the UEB to honor effort of the lecturers in research. The knowledge and skills gained from the work would be combined in the lecture for UEB’s students, thus, helping students to access the latest knowledge and information.
The total prize awarded to 11 international articles is 66,300,000 VND.
