Young lecturer with remarkable achievements in research 

MSc Nguyen Anh Tuan graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) in 2014 and graduated with a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, University of Western Australia in 2019. From 2015-2017, Nguyen Anh Tuan worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Rural Development, VNUA before winning the Australia Awards Scholarship and studying abroad in Australia from 2018 to 2020. Returning home, in February 2020, Nguyen Anh Tuan joined University of Economics and Business, VNU to work as a lecturer at the Faculty of Political Economy.

Up to now, Nguyen Anh Tuan has published 15 articles published in national journals, 10 articles published in prestigious ISI/Scopus journals such as Land Use Policy; Environment, Development and Sustainability; Journal of Agribusiness in Developing and Emerging Economies and 6 articles are in review stage in Land Use Policy, International Journal of Agricultural Sustainability, Environmental Management, Regional Environmental Change, Development Studies, International Economics.

Particularly in 2021, Nguyen Anh Tuan is the first author of 05 articles published in journals of the Web of Science/ Scopus system, including 2 articles published in journals of the Q1 group according to the ranking of Scimago. He is one of 42 outstanding scientists in international publication and intellectual property registration in 2021 of Vietnam National University Hanoi honored in the Annual Report 2021.

Another elaborate product was also launched in 2021 - in which MSc. Nguyen Anh Tuan is the co-author of the book Producer Behavior Analysis - The Case of Organic Tea Farmers in Vietnam.

Nguyen Anh Tuan was awarded with a certificate of merit by the President of Vietnam National University Hanoi for a scientist with outstanding achievements in research and intellectual property registration in 2021.

Dynamic, creative and enthusiastic with students

In addition to his remarkable scientific achievements, Nguyen Anh Tuan is also an active member of the International Cooperation Team, responsible for connecting and coordinating international research cooperation activities. international scholars, organize international seminars. From students' perspective, MSc Nguyen Anh Tuan is a young lecturer who is trusted and many of them want to be supervised by him on their scientific research. Nguyen Anh Tuan has also been assigned the task of leading students to implement the "Meeting with PM" contest organized by the Faculty of Political Economy in 2020 and 2021. The contest is a playground for students of the whole city of Hanoi when it has attracted students from many universities in the city such as University of Economics and Business, School of Law - VNU, Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, Hanoi Law University... In particular, he was commended by the Vietnam National University Hanoi delegation with the title of Lecturer who well performed the cadre emulation movement "Three responsibilities" in the 2020 academic year. -2021.

To his colleagues, Tuan is close and supportive, especially in research. Talking about him, Nguyen Phuong Anh, lecturer at the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing shared: “The first time I met Tuan was in the Innovation class for teachers organized by the University. My first impression of him was a young teacher, full of energy, always actively participates in group activities with colleagues. After that, when I had the opportunity to interact more with him, I felt very admired about his scientific achievements. Mr. Tuan is always ready to support or cooperate with colleagues in teaching and research activities. Thanks to him, the scientific research of young lecturers becomes extremely effective.”

Talking about his current job and the reason he is always present at the Faculty when he is not in class, Nguyen Anh Tuan shared: “The Faculty of Political Economy is a fundamental faculty of UEB, with the mission of training young politicians for Vietnam. As a member as well as a lecturer at the Faculty, I always feel proud and responsible in carrying out that mission. In addition, the academic environment of the Faculty is also very diverse and there is continuity among generations of lecturers at the Faculty, so the Faculty currently has publications in many international newspapers with many different specialties. The most special thing for me is the familiar and close atmosphere of the Faculty's leaders, the elder teachers and many young colleagues that make me always feel that coming to the Faculty every day is a joy”.
