Attended in the Forum were the representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the State Bank of Vietnam, the International Monetary Fund and 30 speakers, nearly 400 delegates representing the leaders of economic groups, the M&A consulting organizations, the leading experts in the field of M&A in Vietnam and the world... In particular, VNU-UEB is the content supporting unit of the Forum and the chairman of selecting committee of typical trade affair.
Some M&A special subjects - the attractive and practical issues which met the demand of the business and the state managing units were exchanged in Forum in Ho Chi Minh City including: M&A Vietnam Market - looking back 5 years and the opportunity to develop in the new phase; M&A opportunities in the banking sector; Selection of M&A strategy for breakthrough growth. In addition, the forum also leave the space for the connection of investing activities.
In M&A Forum 2013, VNU-UEB has introduced the publication "In search of synergy" in English. This publication was translated into English from the Vietnamese version - the first publication in the annual publication series of the research group entitled "Vietnam M&A Review" which was first released at the time of M&A Forum 2012 (held on June 2012).

In addition to the activities in Ho Chi Minh City, the forum also included the symposium "M&A strategy to breakthrough growth" was held in Hanoi on August 12, 2013.
