On 23rd June 2018, 9 students and lecturers from School of Business Administration, VNU University of Economics and Business completed the study tour held by Yokohama National University in Japan. The tour took place from 14th June to 23rd June 2018.
On 15th June 2018, the team had the first meeting with Prof. Hara - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Tanabu - Associate Dean of the Faculty together with staff and students of Yokohama National University. After the meeting, UEB’s students and lecturers paid a visit to Tokiwadai Campus and attended the class about culture and human of Japan. Also in the first days, the delegation joined the class with YNU’s students to discuss about many aspects of business administration such as accounting cost, M&A, Business game etc.
Besides the lectures, the UEB’s students have chance to visit large-scale factories and enterprises in Japan, such as Industrial museum Mitsubishi Minatonirai, Tokyo stock market, Bloomberg, Nissan Automobile etc. The field trip opened the eyes of the UEB’s students on advanced industry of Japan and left unforgettable memories for the students.
In the study tour, UEB’s students had 2 days for self-discovery. With the guide from former UEB’s students who are studying in YNU, the students experienced the subway, Yokohama station, Meiji Shrine, Harajuku town etc.
The trip to Tokyo
On the last day of the tour, UEB’s students together with YNU’s fellows had presentations about sustainability in development of enterprises and countries. By the end of the day, the students received the certificate of completion issued by Yokohama National University.
