Attending the program, there were Mr. Vu Duy - Secretary of the Youth Union of VNU University of Economics and Business, Mr. Vuong Su Nghiep - Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Youth Federation in Muong Khuong District, representatives of La Pan Tan Village, together with faculty members, students and pupils.

 

 

Speaking at the event, Mr. Vu Duy emphasized, "Through this meaningful activity, the UEB delegation would like to give a hand in sharing valuable emotional and practical support with authorities in helping disadvantaged children across the nation in general and in remote areas in particular so that they could have a better life. We also hope that the students can have more favorable conditions to study."

 

 

 

 

During the program, the delegation visited three schools including La Pan Tan Kindergarten, La Pan Tan Elementary School, and La Pan Tan Middle School, giving 5 presents to the regional leaders, 10 scholarships, 560 warm shirts, 1 children's bookcase, 2,500 notebooks, 30 warm blankets with hats, woolen scarves, socks, toys etc. for children. The total value was more than VND 70,000,000.

 

The “Warm Winter” program is an annual activity of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the VNU University of Economics and Business, with the desire to spread love and enhance social responsibility. Besides, the program also draws attention from organizations and donors to help children in remote, isolated and border areas.
