UEB to introduce Bachelor program in Business Administration for Sport Talents

Delegation from VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) led by Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector had a consultation about the bachelor training program in Business Administration for Sports Talents at the Hanoi National Sports Training Center on December 14th, 2020.

Before sharing with the athletes about the curriculum, the UEB's delegation, together with athletes, were invited to stand for the national flag. The meeting was also attended by PhD. Nguyen Anh Minh, Vice Director of the Center.

 

Speaking of the bachelor program for Sports Talent, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le said that the program was innovative and pioneering, specially designed for professional athletes. The program would provide athletes with background knowledge, skills, practical lessons in corporate governance and sports business, which would be of great help for the athletes to expand their career opportunities. The program was designed with flexible learning time to fit the match and training schedule; case study methods that make it easy for athletes to learn and exercise through the course; academic advisors will be there for athletes to provide needed support, etc.

 

 

The Business Administration training program has attracted the attention of many professional athletes. Quach Thi Lan, a professional athlete at the consultation, said that she was aware of the need for such a program for athletes that she and some of her friends were planning to register.
 

 

Nurturing sports talent is one of the country's most important missions, but building the foundation for a sustainable future for athletes is also one of the prerequisites for developing the Vietnamese sport. The bachelor program in Business Administration for Sport Talents, therefore, could open up variety opportunities for the athletes.
