UEBers with international student exchange program - EU Share

Due to the impact of the global pandemic, virtual exchange becomes a memorable experience for UEB’s students. The special format of the exchange brought unique chances for UEBers learn from their international friends across the border.

SHARE is an EU Grant funded project with an overarching objective to strengthen regional cooperation, enhance the quality, competitiveness and internationalisation of ASEAN higher education institutions and students, contributing to an ASEAN Community. The main aim is to enhance cooperation between the EU and ASEAN to create an ASEAN Higher Education Space.

 

Within the framework of the EU Share, the students of Faculty of Finance and Banking had the chance to join the COIL program, in which they enjoyed the full scholarship worth over 15 thousand Eur.

 

COIL modules are considered for credit equivalency upon completion. Students selected to participate and receive full scholarships are all 2nd year students of UEB, with a GPA of 2.8/4.0 or higher and have good command in English. With the teaching staff including highly qualified lecturers from the VNU-UEB, University of Kebangsaan - Malaysia and University of Cambodia, the program offered students with updated knowledge and unforgettable cultural exchange moments.

 

Hien Phuong - Student of QH-2019-E shared her feelings “I'm really looking forward to this course, it's my first time participating in an exchange class with international students. The lessons are so interesting, and it’s easy for us to obtain the new knowledge. It gave me a better understanding of the economies of neighboring countries, typically Cambodia and Malaysia.”
