Purposes and missions:
Purposes: To make clear the actual use of the official development assistance in Vietnam railway industry, thence, to propose solutions to promote the soliciting and utilizing of the ODA in Vietnam railway industry in the forthcoming integration as a result of Vietnam’s participation in the WTO
Missions:
+ To generalize and analyze Vietnam policies of soliciting the ODA in general and of Vietnam railway industry in particular.
+ To make clear the reality of the ODA’s management and operation in Vietnam railway industry from 1995 to present.
+ To propose feasible solutions for more effective attracting and using ODA in Vietnam railway industry after Vietnam participating in the WTO.
New contributions:
- To analyze and pinpoint the reality of soliciting and utilizing the ODA for the railway industry in the past.
- To propose some solutions and requests to further draw ODA attention.
- to railway industry development especially upon Vietnam joining the WTO in November, 2006.
