Purposes: Based on a complete and comprehensive assessment of the real situation of Vietnam rice export, the essay pinpoints the disadvantages of this activity in international economic integration context, hence to propose solutions to overcome these disadvantages governed by the WTO’s rules and regulations for more effective rice exportation in the future
Missions:
+ To layout some main points of the world rice market to pinpoint Vietnam rice export potentiality and advantages.
+ To analyze and assess the real situation of Vietnam rice export in global economic integration setting.
+ To propose solutions for Vietnam rice export in order to meet the requirements of international economic integration.

- To offer a comprehensive analysis and assessment of Vietnam rice exportation from 1989 to 2007.
- To specify the challenges facing rice exportation in the process of international economic integration, especially in the process of joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).
- To propose main enhancement solutions for Vietnam rice exportation under new conditions.
