On 10 May 2016, at Sheraton Hotel, Hanoi, VNU University of Economics and Business, Vietnam Institute for Economic and Policy Research in cooperation with the Australian Embassy in Hanoi organized the Launching workshop of Vietnam Economic Annual Report 2016.

On 18th January 2016, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held the meeting with Mr. Ryan B. Shaffer – Director of Programs and Dr. Andrew Collier - Senior Expert of Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation.

Recently, ten students of the VNU University of Economics and Business honored to receive the scholarship "Nguyen Thai Binh - LienVietPostBank Talent Incubator 2015” at the award ceremony jointly held by Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank or LienVietPostBank and Youth Newspapers on 22nd December 2015.

On 18th December 2015, at the central hall of the State Bank of Vietnam, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) in collaboration with the Journal of Banking, State Bank of Vietnam and Co-operative Bank (Coop Bank) jointly held the conference under the theme of “The role of banks and implementation of science and technology in promoting agriculture and rural development”.

On 17th December 2015, the delegation of representatives of Benedictine University, USA including Prof. Michael Brophy - President and Mrs. Elsie Yuan - Director of International Programs, visited VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and participated in the meeting with leaders of the UEB to exchange cooperation plans between the two universities.

The opening ceremony for the Master programs in Business Administration - Intake 8 was jointly held by the VNU University of Economics and Business and Benedictine University (USA) on 17th December 2015.

To celebrate Vietnamese Teacher's Day and express deep gratitude to generations of leaders, staff and lecturers of the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB), on 17th October 2015, the UEB solemnly held the anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day with participation of generations of lecturers.

On 12th November 2015, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held the international conference under the theme of "Innovation and Renovation in Public Services and Spending: International Experiences and current situation in Vietnam".

On 22nd October 2015, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) solemnly held the commencement exercises and awarded degrees for 43 bachelors and 17 masters of the joint training program in Business Administration with Troy University - USA.

On 1st October 2015, within the framework of cooperation with the Embassy of New Zealand, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a meeting with representatives of the Embassy.

On 3rd October 2015, the commencement convocation for 69 new masters of joint-training program in Business Administration between the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and Benedictine University (USA) was solemnly held at 19 Le Thanh Tong Str., Hanoi.

On 16th September 2015, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) solemnly held the opening ceremony for the 2015-2016 academic year. The ceremony was well attended by the management board, staff, faculties and students of the University.

On 5 August 2015, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding with the Munich University of Applied Languages, Germany.

On 24th July 2015, representatives of the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a meeting with representatives of Rotterdam Business School, Netherlands.
