BIOGRAPHY AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Dr. Nguyen Duc Bao currently serves as the Deputy Director in charge of the International Training and Education Center and concurrently holds the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Development Cooperation, as well as being a lecturer in the Department of Economics Management, Faculty of Political Economy. Dr. Duc Bao received his Bachelor of Excellence degree in International Economics from the Hanoi University of Foreign Trade in 2014. Through a scholarship from the Government of the French Republic, Dr. Duc Bao obtained his Master's degree in International Finance and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Bordeaux (France) in 2015 and 2019 respectively. Before becoming a lecturer at the University of Economics, National University of Hanoi in August 2020, Dr. Duc Bao was engaged in teaching and research at the Applied Economics Institute (GREThA), University of Bordeaux. Mr. Duc Bao has been involved in numerous research consultancy activities in international research cooperation projects at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO Asia-Pacific) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). His research focuses on topics related to international trade, globalization, regionalization, the role of the state in market economies, economic development, and agricultural economics.
