In 5th December 2015 morning, the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) held the 2015 graduate-level commencement ceremony with the attendance of Assoc.Prof. Le Quan, VNU Vice-president and other representative managers of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi; UEB’s leaders and partners.
The ceremony was also attended by a thousand of graduate students who would be offered with doctoral and master degrees and almost six hundred graduate students who would start their study and research right after the ceremony. Remarkably, many friends and family members of the new doctorates and masters were also present at this significant event.
Particularly, eighteen doctorates specialized in Political Economy and Business Administration and a thousand masters specialized in Economic Management, Political Economy, Finance and Banking, Business Administration, and World Economy and International Economic Relations received degrees at this ceremony. It should be explained that this thousand of masters included the ones who had graduated in 2014 and 2015. Twenty-third doctoral students and five-hundred eighty two master students were given a warmly welcome to the home of UEB for study and research purposes at this ceremony.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Rector delivers the opening speech and congratulates new doctorates and masters
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son took this opportunity to congratulate the new doctorates and masters for their academic achievements. He hoped that they would apply the knowledge and skills in work and personal lives as well. He even wished that they would stay in contact and go on collaborating with the University in their future development.
When sharing with the new graduate students who had recently passed the challenging entrance exams to join UEB as new members, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son emphasized that as the current context of economic integration brings about either opportunities or challenges, each individual, organization and business has to further enhance his capabilities to cope with the challenges. Therefore, UEB would be a perfect choice in gaining the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in the new context.

The UEB’s Rector confers degrees to new doctorates and masters
Showing their pride at the ceremony, on behalf of more than a thousand new graduate students, Dr. Tran Quoc Tuan (QH-2010-E) said: "We have made a right decision when choosing UEB for study and research. With its over forty-year history, the University has been affirming its capability in providing highly practical degree programs in economics. Having an opportunity to study at UEB is truly a pride for each graduate student like me”.

Sharing his happiness when becoming a UEB’s graduate student, Nguyen Huu Cuong said: "As the new school year begins, we also start our process of exchanging and acquire practically professional knowledge from lecturers.
