The program emphasizes understanding of scientific research methods, modern and critical thinking, managerial and entrepreneurial spirit and capabilities, language proficiency, and adaptability to Vietnam's increasingly deep and wide international economic integration environment.

2. Admission Eligibility:
Candidates who have graduated from high school (regular education or continuing education), or have completed intermediate education, or have completed a foreign high school program either abroad or in Vietnam, and meet the following criteria:
- Being a member of the national team, confirmed by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training to have fulfilled the duty of participating in official international competitions.
- Being a Level 1 athlete, martial artist, or athlete who has won medals at provincial, city, and national Phu Dong Games; national and international youth competitions; or national championships.
- Being a Level 1 athlete, martial artist, or foreign athlete who has won medals in sports competitions at the city, state, or national level.
3. Admission Scope:
The VNU University of Economics admits talented athletes nationwide.

5. Admission Methods
5.1. Admission Method 1
5.1.1. Requirements for Application Submission
Candidates must be members of the national team, confirmed by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training to have completed the task of participating in official international competitions at the following levels and scales:
(1) Olympic Games;
(2) World Championships in each sport;
(3) World Cup;
(4) Asian Games (ASIAD);
(5) Youth Olympic Games;
(6) Asian Championships;
(7) Asian Cup;
(8) Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games);
(9) Southeast Asian Championships in each sport.
5.1.2. Principles of Admission for the Admission Method
Candidates will be admitted based on the level and scale of competitions, from high to low. In case the number of applications exceeds the quota, the university will use the following additional criteria:
+ Additional Criterion 1: Admission based on the order of achievements.
+ Additional Criterion 2: Admission based on the overall average academic performance in high school for three years, from high to low.

5.2. Admission Method 2
5.2.1. Requirements for Application Submission for Admission Method 2
- Candidates must be Level 1 athletes, champions, or athletes who have won medals at the provincial, city, and national Phu Dong Sports Festival; national and international youth tournaments or national championships.
- Candidates must be Level 1 athletes, champions, or foreign athletes who have won medals at sports competitions organized by cities, provinces, and countries, and meet the admission requirements of the National University of Hanoi and current regulations. They must voluntarily participate in the program and pay tuition fees according to the program's regulations.
5.2.2. Principles of Admission for Admission Method 2
Admission will be based on the evaluation of the application documents and interviews, from high to low.
- Interview schedule: Expected before August 15, 2023.
- Interview format: Conducted in person at the University of Economics and Business or online.

6. Time, Application Submission Methods, and Admission Fees

From July 17, 2023, to August 11, 2023 (during business hours from Monday to Friday).
6.2. Application Submission Methods
Candidates can submit their application documents in one of the following two ways:
