Vietnam became a fascinating region where Okinawan people could take root.
A Ryukyu (Okinawan) glass factory moved to Hanoi, and Vietnamese workers learned Okinawa skills and made beautiful glass art. There are attractive, quality crafts produced by Vietnamese artisans on display in the Naha Airport in Okinawa. There is now a history of peace between Okinawa and Vietnam.
I expect GPAC to be an opportunity to create a history of peace and comprehension in Asia and even the world.
