On 6th December 2019, representatives of VNU University of Economics and Business attended the International Conference for Young Researchers in Economics and Business (ICYREB) 2019 at College of Economics – Hue University.
This is the annual conference co-organized by 10 universities in economics and business, including the UEB. The ICYREB 2019 was hosted by Hue University.
Attending the conference, from the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le – Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu – Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung – Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, MA. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai – Lecturer of Faculty of International Business and Economics.

The conference attracted interest and received papers from nearly 150 young researchers nationwide, in which 110 were chosen to present at the conference. The papers focus on diverse research fields including economics, business administration, finance and banking etc. Besides the plenary session, the conference also had 7 parallel sessions on finance – accounting, economics – business administration, finance – banking, commerce and international investment etc.
At the conference, UEB’s lecturer presented the research on international trade, foreign direct investment and strategies of multi-national corporations in Vietnam.
ICYREB 2020 is expected to be held at Thuong mai University with attendance from universities in economics and business, including the UEB.
