Accrediting education quality based on international standards is a common practice to affirm the position and improve the training quality of higher education institutions. Recently, University of Economics and Business had a meeting with Prof. Christopher S. Cook, CPA, CGMA - Senior Lecturer, Department of Accounting - an education accrediting expert from Kelley School of Business (Indiana University), USA to consult on the process of training accreditation based on ACBSP standards.
ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) is the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs, accredited by CHEA (Council for Higher Education Accreditation), United States. The University of Economics and Business at Vietnam National University (UEB) has consistently worked to increase the calibre of instruction and give students access to a learning environment that meets international standards. In addition to meeting domestic accreditation standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training, UEB is conducting the process of accrediting education quality in accordance with ACBSP standards, laying a solid foundation for the University to finish and improve the quality of teaching and learning, bringing long-lasting academic value to students.
In the ACBSP professional training program on the topic "Leadership & Strategic Planning", Prof. Christopher S. Cook allowed UEB teachers to study more deeply about the international training quality accreditation system, thereby successfully implementing the ACBSP accreditation process.
