The contest welcomed Mr. Ta Hong Son - State Securities Commission of Vietnam, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Huy - President of Finhay Fintech Company and Mr. Truong Viet Thu - President of NGV Company, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking, UEB together with other sponsors and lecturers from the UEB.

3 months since the opening day of registration, 15 excellent teams were selected but only 4 teams made it to the final round:

• Labeco from Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam
• IBA from VNU University of Economics and Business
• H2D from VNU University of Economics and Business
• THN - IC from Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam

The final round had 3 parts, the first part is “SV’s Talents”. In the first part, all teams showed the audience and the judges different colors and diverse characters through their attractive and creative performances.

 

 

Moving to the second round “SV’s Intelligence”, the 4 teams had to choose their own “pack of questions” from the judges. Each pack contains 10 questions to be solved within 90 seconds. Completing the part, Labeco and H2D were the two teams having the highest score and compete in the final part “Fintech Leaders”.

“Fintech Leaders” is a tricky part, in which the 2 teams had to present in front of the judges about their creative fintech ideas. With the idea of “ Fintech and momma’s new born”, Labeco team from Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam has become the winner of the contest.

 

 

Being held for 7 consecutive years, “Finane Students 2018” have become a dynamic and attractive contest for UEB’s students in particular and students in Hanoi in general. In 2019, the contest promises to come back with more innovations and diversity for students.
