"Startup" ideas initiated during college time. With passion and ambition, help and support from friends and guidance from lecturers, that idea can grow and develop strongly.
Salework – Sales management platform on e-commerce platform, the startup idea of student Nguyen Huu Dung – student of the School of Business Administration, VNU-UEB also started like that. There were difficulties and challenges, but in the end, with the enthusiasm and bravery, UEBer gained the first "sweet fruits" in his entrepreneurial journey.
UEB – The first starting point
For many students, university is not only a place to accumulate knowledge but also to improve themselves. It also gives chances for students to connect, where they can find help and support. The student Nguyen Huu Dung and his companion Nguyen Xuan Huy shared the same startup ideal: “In order to achieve the initial success today, we have received support from teachers and mentors of the University. The Business Challenges is a memorable experience, a leap for Salework to be successful in the future”, student Nguyen Huu Dung proudly shared about the UEB – the place where passion is nurtured.
Business Challenges – Steps to success
The competition focused on building real life playgrounds for students. In recent years, the competition Business Challenges offered students chances to develop business ideas and solving practical business problems. It has become an annual playground to help economic students get closer to the startup community, develop creative ideas, experience a professional working environment as well as access to many recruitment opportunities of reputable enterprises.
Overcoming more than 800 contestants from 30 universities in the field of Economics, the Salework Team of Dung and Huy excellently won the top prize at Business Challenges season 5, gaining the chance to appear at the Shark Tank Vietnam. It also won the First Prize of the Startup Competition of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This is a sales management platform, providing the optimal solution for business owners, and also the first success on the entrepreneurial path of two young and enthusiastic UEBers.
