To expand cooperation opportunities and develop training programs, cultural exchange, and student exchange, the VNU University of Economics and Business and Northampton University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with many important contents.
Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of the VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam - Head of the Office of Research and Partnership Development and lecturers from the School of Business Administration. From Northampton University, there were Mr. Thomas Zhang, Assistant Director of International Recruitment, International Cooperation Office; Ms. Ngoc Nguyen, the official representative of Northampton University in Vietnam.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam emphasized: The UEB always welcomes Northampton University students to study at the university under the student exchange program. Through exchange activities, students of the two universities will have more knowledge about the culture and economy of Vietnam and the United Kingdom. UEB believes that cooperation, student exchange, and experience sharing will create practical values for both parties.
On the side of Northampton University, Mr. Thomas Zhang, Assistant Director of International Recruitment, International Cooperation Office said: The joint training programs with foreign universities at Northampton University aim to provide students with an overview of the business environment. Students will be familiarized with the skills necessary to achieve business success, and will be given real-world business tasks. The focus of the courses is on the application of knowledge, skills, and understanding, using analytical skills; the ability to apply and evaluate theories, principles, theories and practices; in-depth knowledge of the field of study; and independence in asking questions and analyzing systematically. We look forward to welcoming UEB students to exchange and study at Northampton University in the near future.
Northampton University is the first university in the UK to receive the "University of Change" award with high praise for its scientific and innovative teaching methods. The school was officially named Northampton University in 2005 and is one of the leading universities in the beautiful land of fog.
Through the MOU, the two sides commit to cooperate in student exchange; organize short-term exchange programs, recognize equivalent credits at Northampton University and UEB; exchange lecturers, experts, support digital learning materials and teacher training; organize academic and cultural exchange programs between the two universities; develop online courses for students of the two universities; the two sides will discuss preferential policies on tuition fees and opportunities to improve skills for students of the two schools within the framework of cooperation.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the UEB and Northampton University was a great success. With this signing, UEB continues to expand its network of international partners, thereby helping UEB's faculty and students to get closer to international standard training programs, create a dynamic learning environment; affirm the ranking position in training in the field of economics and business on prestigious university rankings in the region and the world.
