Attending the ceremony, from UEB, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector and representatives of the leaders of the Faculties, Institutes and functional Departments.

On the side of Financial University, there were Prof. Dr. Stanislav Prokofiev - Rector of Financial University; Prof. Dr. Ekaterina Kameneva - Vice Rector; Mr. Grigorii Ostapenko - Vice Rector for Digital Development; Mr. Kirill Kroshkov - Head of the Executive Office and Ms. To Thi Tuyet Khanh - BAV Representative in Russia.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le expressed his delight that this would be the basis for long-term cooperation between the two sides in the future. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le also hoped that the Memorandum of Understanding and the Student Exchange Agreement would be the foundation for creating momentum for effective and practical academic cooperation and cultural cooperation between the staff, lecturers, scientists, students, trainees and researchers of UEB and FinU in the coming time.

Prof. Dr. Stanislav Prokofiev expressed his belief that this was an important step forward in cooperation between the two leading universities of the two countries in the field of economics and business, and expressed his hope for the prospect of extensive cooperation between the two sides in the coming time. Prof. Dr. Stanislav Prokofiev also shared that many lecturers of the UEB were former students and researchers in the Russian Federation, and that this would be an important bridge between the two universities to promote cooperation at the level of faculties and training institutes, and a testament to the quality of education and research in the Russian Federation.

After discussing and agreeing on the contents, the Memorandum of Understanding and the Student Exchange Agreement between the two universities were signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council and Prof. Dr. Stanislav Prokofiev - Rector of Financial University, witnessed by representatives of the leaders of the two universities and UEB lecturers who are former international students, alumni and researchers in the Russian Federation.

Accordingly, the cooperation activities between the two universities will focus on key contents including: Implementing exchange programs in combination with practical experiences for students of the two universities to enhance cultural exchange and specialized study; Research cooperation; Coordination of the organization of forums, seminars, and courses on economics and business; Strengthening research cooperation on important topics such as BRICS, Smart Cities, Maritime Economy, Forecasting International Economic Trends in 2024, and Energy Security.

Following that, UEB organized a Guest lecture presented by speakers from FinU on the topic "Factors contributing to the resilience of the Russian economy".

Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Rector of the University delivered a speech: "We are very pleased to welcome lecturers from Financial University as speakers for today's Guest lecture seminar. UEB lecturers and students are looking forward to the presentations of the professors in the seminar. I hope that the knowledge shared by FinU lecturers will be helpful for students in their studies as well as research. This is an opportunity for students to exchange and discuss with lecturers from the leading university in the Russian Federation, so be bold in speaking up to learn more!
