Exchange with students from Wheaton University

Recently, 20 students of Business Administration and International Economics from Wheaton University, the United States paid a visit to VNU University of Economics and Business held by the end of June 2019.

Attending the meeting, from Wheaton University, there were Prof. David C. Iglesias - Director of the Center for Political and Economic Research; Dr. Michael McKoy - Lecturer in Security and Diplomatic Relations with 20 students in Economics, Business, Politics and International Relations. From VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Dean of Faculty of Development Economics; Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Economics.

During the visit, students from the US had chances to exchange with UEB’s students and listened to discussion of UEB’s lecturers on various topics related to Vietnamese economy.

The students were interested in the discussion and asked many questions such as: Doing business in Vietnam, from small business to large foreign business, conducting business in Vietnam, how does Vietnam attract foreign investment etc.
