The competition was attended by Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB together with leaders and lecturers of Faculties and school. The eight groups with the best research projects were chosen to present at the competition.
Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu said “This year, the number of research increased dramatically, doubling the number in 2020 and 9-10 times higher than the years 2017 - 2018. The figure shows the increasing number of students interested in doing research.”
This year, the topics focused on many “hot” issues such as: Factors affecting the financial risks of listed companies in the period 2015-2019; Assessment of the impact of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland on Vietnam's textile and garment exports etc.
At the conference, students from the eight groups presented and defended their research projects in front of the board of judges. Meanwhile, they have chances to receive valuable feedback from the lecturers.
