Receiving the SFST representative was Dr. Vu Anh Dzung - UEB Vice Rector and Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Head of Research and Partnership Development Office.
At the working session, the two parties have discussed about training programs and common interests on developing the good partnership with other international universities.
 The UEB is known as a dynamic university with high-quality in training and some similarities in the economics training with SFSU. Hence the SFSU paid a visit to find study more about the university, as well as to set the first step for cooperation relationship between the two universities. San Francisco State University is interested in joint training program with University of Economics and Business, especially the bachelor training program 2+2, master program and student exchange programs.

Talking with Mr. Tran Song Ho, Dr. Vu Anh Dzung has introduced an overview on VNU and UEB. Among its international joint training programs, the UEB is implementing some programs with prestigious partners such as Bachelor in Business Administration 2+2 with Massey University (New Zealand), Bachelor and Master in Business Administration with Troy University (US), Master in Business Administration with Benedictine University (US), Master Program in Public Management with Uppsala University (Sweden)... Therefore, the SFSU representative expected the working session would open promising cooperation between the two universities. 
The two sides also discussed about studying fee, scholarship or support policy to Vietnamese students when taking part in the joint programs with San Francisco State University. After the meeting, the SFSU and UEB agreed to have more discussion to reach specific cooperation programs.
