The team presented at the workshop the assumption model, research methodology and approaches to the topic. Experts and lecturers expressed great interest and share their ideas for the model involving in the literature review, the factors and components of supply chain such as the state or consumers, the role of green growth pillars in supply chain.
Participants to the workshop also shared their experience in supply chains, provided practical examples of sustainable and green supply chains of businesses in the southern region in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular to suggest directions for the research work and approaches for the topic. The participants suggest the research should include bigger number, more even distribution of research subjects, sectors and regions in order to fully assess the overall supply chain management towards green growth.
Such valuable suggestions are useful for the study group of VNU University of Economics and Business to perfect their green supply chain management model.
Theo workshop was also an opportunity for the VNU University of Economics and Business and the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, to interact and exchange expertise so that cooperation between the two schools would be further promoted.
During the time working in Ho Chi Minh City, the team also had meetings with several experts in logistics and supply chains from other universities and institutes in the southern region and some organizations such as Vietnam Supply Chain Association for consultation on research themes and the prospect for collaborative research in the future.
