Attending the meeting were representatives of ACCA, Mr. Joshua Heniro - Director of Training in Asian emerging markets; Ms. Le Thi Hong Len – Chief Representative of ACCA Vietnam; Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha - Head of Foreign Relations in Education and Training, ACCA Office in Hanoi.
From VNU-UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development; Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Associate Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking; Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien - Head of Department of Accounting - Auditing and faculty members of Faculty of Finance and Banking.
Opening the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Truc Le on behalf of the university expressed his gratitude to the partner and highly appreciated the support of ACCA over the period in providing scholarships for lecturers and students, organizing workshops and career-oriented conference as well as other activities within the framework of the memorandum of the two parties signed in 2011.
 Ms. Le Thi Hong Len, Representative of ACCA appreciates the UEB in facilitating many cooperative activities with the ACCA in the recent years. She reviewed the co-operation between the two parties and really appreciate the achievements. At the same time, she expressed desire to the extensive cooperation with the university in the future.  
At the meeting, two sides have discussed and agreed on some key directions for the development in the near future as well as the strategic goal of long-term development.
The ACCA is committed to continue to fund scholarships for students and faculty members, provide training short courses to enhance teaching skills at some courses under the ACCA training program for teachers of the accounting and auditing. At the same time, the Association will integrate ACCA program into the curriculum framework of Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance - Honors program of VNU-UEB in order to improve the quality of training towards international standards. Initially, ACCA will support VNU-UEB in the pilot training program of 2 subjects F2 (Management Accounting) and F3 (Financial Accounting) in ACCA program for students of Accounting, striving to put all F-courses of ACCA into the curriculum in the next phase.
In addition, the two sides also discussed the development of cooperation in the field of scientific research between faculty and ACCA.
At the end of the meeting, VNU-UEB and ACCA agreed on oriented activities and programs of development cooperation in the future.
