From 28th to 30th November, receiving the invitation from Merrick Business School, University of Baltimore (USA), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of Finance and Banking Faculty, VNU University of Economics and Business paid a visit to the University. She is currently a Fulbright scholar at University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu had a meeting with Prof. Murray M. Dalziel, Rector of the Merrick Business School and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huy Hoang to discuss the cooperative opportunities of training and research between the two sides. The Merrick Business School highly appreciated the trend of training reform in Vietnam. Besides, representatives of the two universities agreed on an cooperative agreement, which benefits both sides in student exchange, joint research etc.

During the working trip, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu also gave a lecture to graduate students on "Corporate Governance in Banking - US Experience After Crisis and Practices in Vietnam". This is also a part of her short term research as an ASEAN - US Fulbright scholar at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
