Leaders of UEB and Troy after the working session
Dr. Earl Ingram, Vice Chancellor of Troy University has paid a visit and had a meeting at VNU University of Economics and Business on 28th May 2012.
Associated with the Vice Chancellor was Ms. Nguyen Thuy Phuong - Troy University programs coordinator in Vietnam. Receiving Dr. Earl Ingram were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Dr Vu Anh Dung and Head of Research and Partnership Development Office, Center for International Training and Education.
At the meeting, the two sides have discussed and agreed on several articles within cooperation training programs (BBA). Next, representatives of two universities have participated in an exchange activity with students and alumni of the joint training programs between the two universities.
Participants are interested in the short video clip by Troy students.
The exchange activity is started with a short video clip of interesting images of Troy students on the 125th anniversary occasion of Troy University. The video clip has brought with an open and cheerful atmosphere to the attendees.
At the exchange activity, Dr. Earl Ingram has shared with students about his stories, especially the information about Troy University, where he has been working. Students were particularly interested in information about learning environment, activities of Troy students around the world, scholarships for students of joint training programs... They were even more excited when they are soon transferring to the U.S. in the next semesters.

In his speech, Dr. Earl Ingram also expected that Troy alumni would continue to keep in touch to develop a Troy University network in Vietnam, thereby support one another in further study and in life.
Dr. Vu Anh Dung expresses his gratitude to the Troy’s Vice Chancellor for his significant visit and hope for a flourish relationship between two universities.
Also at the meeting, the Troy alumni have shared with current student about experience in study and seeking a job after graduation. Among those, Nguyen Thi Huong Huyen (MBA intake 2) believed that studying with a whole heart and passion would bring you the expected goal. Cao Minh Duc (BSBA intake 7) has emphasized that to create good impression with the employers, you should put a spotlight in your CV, focus in interviews and build your experience by part-time jobs.
Representing the Troy alumni, Nguyen Thi Huong Huyen offers Dr. Earl Ingram a souvenir to expressed their gratitude for a high-quality program that they have been experiencing.
The meeting closes, leaving good emotion among attendees.
