On 17th April 2019, Dong Nai University cooperated with VNU University of Economics and Business to organize the conference "Water security in DongNai river: theoretical issues and practical experiences"
The conference lied within the framework of the project "Investigate
water security for building plans of water security: experimental
implementation on the DongNai river" coded BDKH.12/16-20 led by Assoc.Prof.Dr.
Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the UEB.
Attending the conference, from the UEB, there were
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen An Thinh - Head of the delegation, and Dr. Nguyen The
Kien - Lecturer of Faculty of Development Economics. There are also representatives
of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Agriculture
and Rural Development, Department of Science and Technology of DongNai Province;
Dr. Pham Van Thanh, Vice-Rector of DongNai University together with managers
and researchers from research centers, lecturers and students from DongNai
University.

provinces.

At the conference, the discussion covers talks,
comments and questions about: Various aspects of water security such as natural
interdisciplinary science, social culture, national security, economy, natural
disasters and climate change; current situation, existing problems and
solutions for the use and management of water resources in the localities in
the DongNai river basin; Policy tools in water resources management etc.
