UEB’s students receive Kova awards

Student Pham Thi Phuong received Kova award along with six other VNU’s students
On 17th December 2016, the 14th Kova awards ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City. For the first time, VNU University of Economics and Business has had the first two students receiving Kova award and scholarship.

In the field of prospects, seven VNU’s students were recognized. These are the students with excellent academic achievement in consecutive years and being heads of many potential scientific researches. Many students also gained achievements in National Olympic, students of five-good at all levels etc.
Pham Thi Phuong - student of the Faculty of International Economics and Business, VNU University of Economics and Business having excellent academic achievement of GPA 3.63/4, being VNU five-good student in the academic year of 2014-2015 and VNU young face was awarded Kova Prospect Award.
 

Two UEB students receive awards and scholarships Kova 2016
 
In addition, the Kova Award Commission also granted 110 scholarships for strong-willed students from 58 public universities across the country. These are students coming from families with disadvantages (including orphans, students of sick/disabled parents etc.) and gained good academic achievement. UEB’s student Nguyen Thi Duy Linh from Faculty of Economic Development with GPA of 3.5/4 received this scholarship
The Kova award was founded by the former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh. The award honors creativity, dedication, examples of good persons, students with outstanding achievements in scientific research.
