Research purposes:
- Studied, surveyed and clarified the current situation of technology of small and medium enterprises in Hanoi;
- Proposed measures and recommendations to promote technology renovation, and improve business and competitiveness of those enterprises in coming years.
Research tasks:
- Systemized some theoretical issues, and investigated technology renovation in enterprisies in general and in small and medium sized enterprises in particular;
- Assessed, analyzed and clarified the strong points and weak points, causes relating to technology renovation in small and medium industrial enterprises in Hanoi in recent years;
- The scientific basis of the solutions and recomendations was proposed in the thesis.
New contributions:
- Helped to clarify some theoretical aspects of technology, and technology renovation in small and medium sized enterprises in condition of market economy and international economic integration; and collected lessons of some countries in terms of technology renovation in those enterprieses.
- Clarified the status of the existing technology level of small and medium industrial enterprises in Hanoi.
- Suggested recommendations and solutions which are capable of application to technology renovation to improve business and competitiveness of small and medium industrial enterprises in Hanoi from now to 2010 and 2020.
