Vietnamese goods are increasingly gaining the trust of consumers. Notably, in difficult times when the epidemic was complicated, many economic indicators decreased, the total retail sales of consumer goods and services still maintained a good growth rate.

In the past 7 months, Vietnam’s economy had a fairly comprehensive recovery. However, challenges do exist as inflation pressure remains unchanged from now until the end of the year.

Variants of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus are hitting the recovery of the global economy badly which is expected to occur quickly in 2022. However, the impacts of the variants of SARS-CoV-2 have the potential to undermine policy makers’ plans requiring them to prepare different scenarios forecasting the impacts.

Within the framework of the "UEB - Research & Sharing" series of seminars, the "Managerial Accounting Evolution - Comparative Studies" seminar organized by the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, VNU-UEB was held on May 23, 2022.

Financial consumer protection is important in promoting financial inclusion, contributing to the economic growth of each country. The 9th Annual Global Forum for Financial Consumers (GFFC-2022) with the theme "Financial consumer protection and sustainable development" was co-organized by the International Academy of Financial Consumers (IAFICO), Faculty of Accounting and Auditing - VNU-UEB, and Academy of Banking (SBV-BA) on August 4-5/ 2022.

Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) educational organization just announced the results of ranking 51 fields in 5 field groups of 1,543 world higher education institutions. The field of Business & Management Science, managed by the VNU-UEB to have been promoted to the top 451 - 500 in the world.

Economic and trade forums between Vietnam and other countries and regions are annually held by VNU-UEB. Following the success of the "Vietnam - Germany Economic and Trade Forum 2020" and "Vietnam - UK Economic and Trade Forum 2021", VNU-UEB continues to organize the "Vietnam - Korea Economic and Trade Forum 2022" (in Vietnam) and "Vietnam – Europe Economic and Trade Forum 2023" (expected in Turkey).

After the opening ceremony in the morning of 28th August 2019, the participants presented 25 discussions in 5 parallel sessions.

Hundreds of young scholars from all over Asia are discussing new economic thinking and presenting their research at YSI Asia Convening 2019, taking place in Hà Nội from 12th to 15th August.

On August 28th, the Global Partnership of Asian Colleges (GPAC) was officially opened at Nguyen Van Dao Hall of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With the theme “Digital Economies in Asia”, this event attracted participation of 130 scholars and students from colleges in Asia.
