On 16th November 2014, VNU University of Economics and Business has solemnly celebrated its 40thtraditional anniversary (11/1974 - 11/2014) and towards Vietnamese Teacher's Day.

May 29, 2014, the VNU Univesity of Economics and the Australian Embassy in Hanoi organized the launching conferene of Vietnam Annual Economic Report 2014 entitled the constraints to growth.

May 8, 2014, the closing ceremony of 28th AUN actual quality assessment was held at Vietnam National University Hanoi. The assessement was carried out for two bachelor training programs namely international standard Business Administration of the VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and Computer Science of VNU University of Engineering and Technology (UET).

At the opening ceremony of the new academic year 2013 - 2014 in VNU-UEB on 20 September 2013, among the participants are a number of alumni who has been successful and become representatives of the partner of VNU-UEB. We had a brief talk with two successful alumni. Following is the conversation:

VNU University of Economics and Business (VNU-VNU-UEB) belongs to Vietnam National University was established in 2007 on the basis of upgrading from Faculty of Economics, VNU. When it was still the faculty of VNU till being upgraded to university, VNU- VNU-UEB has always considered quality as one of the core valuesthroughout the development strategy to 2020 and vision to 2030 as well as in the detailed mission plan each academic year.

July 24, 2013, the VNU - UEB held the Academic Year 2012-1013 Review and staff representative meeting with the participation of more than 100 delegates from the university’s units. The Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son chaired the conference.

As the academic year 2012-2013 is about to close, the VNU University of Economics and Business is summing up all the programmes implemented during the year. On this occasion, we had a discussion with the UEB Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Hong Son.

On 1st June 2013, 39 graduates of MBA intake 3, joint training program between Benedictine University (The US) and VNU University of Economics and Business have been awarded master degree at their graduation ceremony.

The year 2012 was greatly significant for VNU University of Economics and Business. The University celebrated the 5th anniversary of establishment (2007-2012) and towards 40 years of traditions leaving very good impressions for all of its faculty, staff, and students.

The year of 2013 is coming. To review what the university has made in the last year and to strive for new achievements, the VNU University of Economics and Business has selected its 10 outstanding events in 2012. Apart from regular programs, the VNU University of Economics and Business has been co-organizing joint training programs with other prestigious universities in the world, including programs of bachelor degree, which is conferred by the partner university and worldwild recognized. On 30th June 2012, the VNU University of Economics and Business has solemnly organized the commencement for 252 students and 382 graduates.

On 24th May 2012, the VNU University of Economics and Business has collaborated with Irish Aid and Vietnam Center for Economics & Policy Research (VEPR) to organize the launching ceremony of Vietnam Annual Economic Report 2012 (VAER 2012) under the theme: Facing the challenges of structural reform.
