On 9th May 2017, Ms. Karen Wong - Head of Recruitment and Marketing of Middlesex University paid a working visit to VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB).
Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha - Deputy Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Vice Dean of School of Business Administration.
At the meeting, representatives of the two universities expressed the wish to promote the cooperation, especially in the field of training. The partnership is expected to open opportunities for UEB’s students to get access to advanced knowledge, international teaching methods and experience the learning environment in Middlesex University - a prestigious and highly-rated institution with preferential tuition fees.
In addition, representatives from Middlesex University and the UEB also discussed other potential cooperation opportunities such as exchanges of lecturers and students, short-term training... Especially, Middlesex University has an annual "summer program" for international students. In the program, attendants have the chance to attend lectures, seminars with international lecturers, learn and gain practical knowledge in business as well as visit famous sites in the UK. Ms. Karen expressed her hope to receive the UEB’s students to the program.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed on further exchange of information. In the immediate future, the two universities will exchange the curriculum framework and develop a joint training program. After that, Middlesex University and the UEB will sign the memorandum of understanding lay the groundwork for the implementation of cooperation activities in the coming time.
Middsex University is located in Hendon, Northwest London, England. It
officially takes the name of Middlesex since 1992 but its history traces
back to the 19th century. The University is ranked 2nd
among England education institution by the Times. Currently, Middlesex
has about 1,700 students from European countries and 1,800 students from
other countries around the world. The number of Vietnamese students at
