Representatives of University of Economics and Business - VNU and Middlesex University (UK) have agreed on the bilateral training cooperation at a meeting on 13th January 2011.
To reperesent the Middlesex University (MDX) leaders, Prof. Kannan Kaniah Manikam, Executive Director in Asia has vistited the UEB, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - UEB Vice has received the delegates.
After the introduction of the University of Economics and Business - VNU by Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Prof. Kannan Kaniah Manikam has expressed his pleasure to cooperate with the university in training and education. Prof. Kannan Kaniah Manikam has generalized training programs of MDX to clarify the cooperative opportunities between two universities.
At the meeting, the two parties have agreed on the cooperation in the 16+23 program in Business Administration, the possibility of providing joint training program in 3+1 model, or developing joint training programs with 100% Vietnam’s model in the fields of business, banking, accounting, finance…
Besides, representatives of UEB and MDX also mentioned students and faculty exchanging program to improve international teaching capability in the cooperative areas. To fulfill the goal, two parties plan to hold further meetings and discussions to agree the curriculum. Next, an MOU between two universities will establish the official partnership and officialize documents to promptly implement training programs.
