Being one of the regular activities of the Quality Assurance (QA) in Vietnam National University, Hanoi; on the morning of April 26th 2013, VNU University of Economics and Business hosted the 8th meeting for Quality Assurance of VNU. Twice a year, the meeting was held to sum up partially, summarize the activities of quality assurance of the entire VNU.
Attending the meeting were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha - President of VNU, Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - former President of VNU, QA Council Chairman, VNU, Council members of QA, VNU and all leaders and staff of the Centre / Division of quality assurance of the training unit of VNU.
With the theme "Quality assessment following the AUN standards - Practice and Experience", beside the preliminary task of QA as usual, the meeting discussed on the solutions to quality assurance for training units to meet the assessment standards of AUN; the solutions to improve the quality of training programs after AUN evaluation.
The participants at the meeting was provided with useful experiences among member universities and colleges as well as the departments of VNU to ensure and improve the quality of education in general; to meet the quality standards of higher education in the area - it's the standard to evaluate training unit, training programs of the Southeast Asia Universities network.
Utilizing the meeting outcomes of quality assurance of VNU, they also discussed and came to the conclusion: the next briefing session will come with the theme "The solutions to improve the quality of post- AUN "VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the unit hosted the session. Time scheduled meeting tentatively is in October 2013.
