The Job Fair was attended by more than 20 large enterprises such as: Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Ltd, Insurance Company Limited Bank of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (VBI), Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB Bank) , Vietnam E-commerce Development Joint Stock Company (GHTK JSC), KIDO Group, Aviva Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited, Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB Bank), KPMG Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, AMES English Center, Nhat Cuong Software Solution Company Limited, CMG Asia, Golden Path Academics Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Tinhvan Technology Joint Stock Company, M2 Fashion Export Textile Center and ADT International Joint Stock Company, Esquel Vietnam.

The job fair welcomed leaders of the UEB, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Rector and heads of offices and affiliated units. Especially, it attracted a large number of students in universities in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Rector of UEB, Associate Professor Nguyen Truc Le emphasized: “The University’s top priority is preparing the students for their future career, so that every fresh graduate can get a job. For many years, we have focused on training soft skills and provided opportunities for students to approach employers. The Job Fair is an event as a part of the training program of our University. There are many foreign high quality human resources coming into Vietnam, so you must grasp job opportunities to put the knowledge gained at school into practice and establish a firm social position. I wish that the employers will find the best candidates and also wish that junior and senior students will find a job that suits their abilities and interests.”

Right after that, Associate Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le awarded Gold Certificate of Sponsorship to Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Hoa - Human Resource Manager of Northern Branch of Prudential Vietnam Insurance Company Limited. Associate Professor Nguyen Manh Tuan awarded Silver Certificate of Sponsorship to Ms. Tran Thi Huong Thuy, Deputy General Director of Insurance Company Limited Bank of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (VBI) and Ms. Tran Thi Minh Phuong in charge of Recruitment Department of GHTK Joint Stock Company. Dr. Bui Hong Cuong - Head of Office of Political and Student Affairs awarded Bronze Certificate of Sponsorship to Ms. Chu Thi Thu Nguyet - Human Resources Division of Military Bank and Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Mai - Chairwoman of Board of Director of ADT International JSC.

Ending the opening ceremony, there was the appearance of singer Jaykii, who melted the audience's hearts with the hit "Chiều hôm ấy” (That afternoon). The young handsome singer with impressive style made the whole campus so flaming that everyone shouted, cheered, clapped and danced. A female student from Faculty of International Economics and Business was invited to sing with Jaykii.

Shortly after, 2018 UEB’s Job Fair officially started with excitement at every stall of each enterprise. UEB’s students focused on inquiring about jobs in the field of Banking and Finance and Accounting. Besides, Insurance and Administration also attracted a lot of attention. Ms. Ta Thi Thuy, who is representative of Insurance Company Limited Bank of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (VBI), said: "UEB students have very good skills and behavior. They are eager to learn and they can adapt quickly to the working environment, in particular, they have great background knowledge to work immediately. Every year, we come to UEB to look for excellent students and many of our current leaders are former students of the university.”

 Students inquired about job opportunities

2018 UEB’s Job Fair 2018 is a part of a series of activities connecting the University with enterprises to orient future career for students, to help students approach enterprises early and get the requirements of employers. This is a good opportunity for students to grasp opportunities and affirm themselves in front of employers, and meet the needs the labor market. This is also an opportunity for enterprises to directly approach young, well-educated, enthusiastic and creative workforce.

Coming to UEB’s Job Fair 2018, students were able to meet employers and experts in many fields. They also had access to the information of the labor market, the recruitment needs of employers, and they also had the opportunities to receive scholarships to attend skills training courses provided by the sponsor and receive many other attractive gifts during the program.
