From 28th November to 2nd December 2018, a delegation from VNU University of Economics and Business attended the 6th UKM Asean Art Festival held at the National University of Malaysia.
The 6th UKM Asean Art Festival under the theme of "Art culture diversity" attracted participation from 9 universities in Asean: Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar together with a guest university from Korea.
The festival had four main activities: The cultural exchange sessions between the participating countries, cross-cultural concert, The 6th UKM Asean Art Festival Party and cultural journey.
UEB's students with Malaysian volunteers
In the first two days, UEB students joined the welcome party and exchanged with other students at the Great Hall of the National University of Malaysia. The students from different countries sing traditional songs or play games to introduce and share with others about cultures of their countries.
On 29th November, Malaysia National University held a visit to SOS Malaysia. The students had chances to watch the show performed by children in difficulty. The students also spent time to play and take care of the children at SOS.
The next day, all participating delegation joined the pocket show at the commercial center in Putrajaya. At the show, UEB’s students brought traditional dances and songs, which received praises from audience. The song "Mai dinh lang bien" sang by Khuc Carm Linh, modern dances performed by four UEB's students and flashmob with the song "Heart of Vietnam" heated up the atmosphere and left many beautiful memories for the attendants.

On 1st December, UEB's students brought traditional performance to the Party. They performed traditional dance, folk dance and modern dance with "non la" (Vietnamese hats). The folk dance with the song "Banh troi nuoc" impressed the audience with extravagant costumes and great skills.
At the end of the trip, the students had chances to take part in the tour to discover famous places of Malaysia before returning home.
